This season we’re celebrating the 75th anniversary of our current name – Club Atlético de Madrid. On Jan. 1, 1947, Club Atlético-Aviación changed its name to Club Atlético de Madrid. To celebrate the 75th anniversary, we want to pay tribute to such an important moment in our club’s history through the four kits we will wear the upcoming season. These are inspired by some unforgettable moments the Atlético fans have enjoyed during these 75 years.
Atlético Holdco, which agrees to exercise its pre-emptive subscription right, incorporates funds managed by Ares Management Corporation as a strategic investor, which in turn takes a 33.96% stake in the capital of the club's majority shareholder.
Our club and Hyundai have extended for one year the agreement that has united us since 2018. Our sponsor’s logo will continue to feature on the left sleeve of our men's and women's first teams’ shirts.
