The Cívitas Metropolitano is a candidate to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup

Our stadium is one of eleven venues proposed by the RFEF to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) announced on Friday that the Cívitas Metropolitano is one of eleven proposed venues to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Spain has put forward eleven stadiums, while Morocco will have six and Portugal three.

FIFA confirmed in its Congress on 11 December that the joint bid from Morocco, Portugal and Spain had won the right to host the tournament. It will confirm the venues to be used in the competition at a later date.

The Spanish stadiums chosen as candidates are as follows:

- Reale Arena (Donostia-San Sebastián)

- Camp Nou (Barcelona)

-Gran Canaria (Las Palmas)

- La Cartuja (Seville)

- La Rosaleda (Málaga)

- Cívitas Metropolitano (Madrid)

- Nueva Romareda (Zaragoza)

- RCDE Stadium (Barcelona, Cornellá-El Prat)

- Riazor (A Coruña)

-San Mamés (Bilbao)

-Santiago Bernabéu (Madrid)
