LG LED SCREEN TO BE INSTALLED ON THE ROOF OF THE STADIUM

LG joins the Atlético family

Our new club sponsor will develop and install new LED technology at the Cívitas Metropolitano and collaborate with future ‘Ciudad del Deporte’ projects.

LG Electronics and Atlético de Madrid have reached an agreement to collaborate, whereby the multinational company will develop and install new LED technology at the Cívitas Metropolitano. This development will make our stadium one of the most cutting-edge sports venues, allowing fans to enjoy the best-possible audiovisual experience.

This project, the most ambitious developed by LG to date, will be a real technological achievement. A new LED support in the shape of an ellipse will be installed on the roof of the Cívitas Metropolitano. Its design will be integrated into the oval and trapezoidal structure of the roof, and will provide a new digital backdrop to one of the most iconic areas of our stadium, creating a 360-degree visual effect.

This agreement will also include new audiovisual mediums on the exterior and interior of the stadium with high-performance, bespoke screens, which will double the current LED coverage at the ground.
