The club works every day to make the Academy one of the best Comprehensive Training Centres of footballers and values in the world. Thousands of players place their trust in our program. The Academy is the place where dreams are born.

The club has bet on a sporting model based on an internal selection, to create a structure which generates the greatest number of emerging players, home-grown footballers, who have grown up following the values of the entity and who coexist with internationally renowned players. This is the case of Gabi, Fernando Torres, Lucas, Koke, Thomas, and Saúl who went through the Academy and are members of our first team.

Our training project regularly contributes players to the lower categories of national and international teams. Footballers, who in many cases have defended the colours of their senior national teams.

Integrated in this model is the Foundation, which contributes to spread the positive values of sport, reaching the most vulnerable places of the world from a social and humanitarian point of view, as well as Atlético de Madrid’s women’s team, which involves the female players.
