The work to connect the traction rings of the Wanda Metropolitano roof begins

The traction rings shape the oval of the roof that will open over the pitch. In the image, you can see how the lower traction ring has now reached the height needed to connect with the upper ring. Once all the floating piles (the white bars that hang from the upper traction ring) have been connected to the lower traction ring, the roof will rise to its final height. / PHOTO: Alberto Molina.
