Kevin Gameiro first answered the media in the VIP room in his presentation event. Atlético’s new player said: "I’m very excited to come to this great club. I know that we are going to compete in all the competitions. It’s a new challenge for me and I hope it goes well." 

Gameiro was very happy to sign with our club: "I liked the project of Atlético de Madrid from the beginning and I think that here I can do great things." 

He also stressed the importance of having Simeone as a coach: "He has proven to me that he wants me in his team. He knows my qualities as a striker and I think I can adapt very quickly to this team. In addition, I love his winning mentality."
