Enrique Cerezo is the Chairman of Club Atlético de Madrid. Before assuming the club’s presidency in 2003, he served as the club’s Vice-President for 16 years. Enrique Cerezo is also a film producer and President of EGEDA (Audiovisual Producers’ Rights Management Association).

Miguel Ángel Gil · CEO.

Miguel Ángel Gil is Chief Executive Officer of Atlético de Madrid and First Vice-President of LaLiga. Before assuming his current role in 2002, he joined the club in 1993, where he began his career as the club’s General Manager. Miguel Ángel Gil is a member of the executive committees of UEFA and the EFC (European Football Clubs).

Antoine Bonnier · Board Member.

Antoine Bonnier is the Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Pacific (UK) LLP and serves as a member of the board of directors of Club Atletico de Madrid SAD, Competitive Power Ventures Inc, OPC Energy Ltd and Kenon Holdings, each of which may be associated with the same ultimate beneficiary, Mr. Idan Ofer. Prior to joining Quantum Pacific, Mr. Bonnier was part of the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley & Co. Mr. Bonnier attended the ESCP Europe Business School and graduated with a Master of Science in Management.

Robert Givone· Board Member.

Robert Givone is Co-Portfolio Manager of Apollo Sports Capital and Partner, Head of Portfolio Strategies and Co-Chief Credit Officer at Apollo. Before joining in 2015, Robert was Senior Research Analyst within the Distressed Credit Opportunity Group at Davidson Kempner. Prior to that, Robert was Vice President at Brencourt Advisors and Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers. A former professional tennis player, Robert holds a BA in economics from Columbia University.

Tristram Leach· Board Member.

Mr. Tristram Leach is Partner, Head of Investments - Europe and Co-Head of the European Credit & Hybrid Business, based in London. Mr. Leach joined Apollo in 2015 in Global Corporate Credit and was elevated to co-leading the broader European Credit business in 2023. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Leach was a Partner at Cheyne Capital Management, initially working on the Total Return Credit Fund before elevating to Portfolio Manager of the Cheyne Long Short Credit Fund, which he directly managed from 2011 onwards. Mr. Leach graduated from The London School of Economics & Political Science with a First Class Honours degree in Economics and Government.

Jim Miller· Board Member.

Mr. Miller is President of Ares Capital Corporation and Co-Head of U.S. Direct Lending at Ares. He also serves as President of Ares Strategic Income Fund and is Co-Head of Ares Sports and Media strategy where he currently serves as a board member for Atletico de Madrid, the Professional Lacrosse League, Propagate Media among other board appointments.

Sam Porter · Board Member.

Sam Porter is the Chief Strategy Officer of Apollo Sports Capital. Sam has extensive experience in the football industry and is the co-owner and comanaging member of several sports assets today including Club Necaxa, Inter Bogota and The Brooklyn Pickleball Team in Major League Pickleball (MLP). Prior to his current roles, he served as Chief Strategy Officer for DC United in Major League Soccer (MLS) and also served on the Board of Directors of Swansea City AFC (English Football League). During his time at DC United, Audi Field was built and opened in downtown Washington DC. Sam was named to the Leaders 40 Under 40 list in 2017 for Legal and Governance.

Amit Singh · Board Member.

Amit Singh is a Managing Director at Quantum Pacific, where he oversees the firm’s global sports portfolio, including Atlético de Madrid, Aston Martin Formula One and Team Movistar. Amit brings nearly two decades of international experience across investing, business building and sports management. Having lived and worked in six countries, he brings a global perspective to his work and relationships. Amit is also a Partner at QP Ventures, a global early-stage venture capital group.

Javier Valle · Board Member.

Javier Valle is a Managing Director at Apollo Global Management and a member of Apollo’s Hybrid Equity team. He is responsible for the Hybrid strategy’s investments in Spain, leads cross-platform origination efforts in the country, and oversees Hybrid Equity’s sports investments across Europe.

Javier joined Apollo in 2014 after working at Morgan Stanley, where he served in the M&A Execution group and previously in the Financial Institutions Group.

He holds degrees in Business Administration and Law (E-3) from ICADE University.

Antonio Vázquez-Guillén · Board Member.

Antonio Vázquez-Guillén is a partner at the international law firm A&O Shearman and Global Co-Head of the Litigation and Investigations department. Between 2015 and 2025, he served as Co-Managing Partner of the firm’s Madrid office.

His legal practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, as well as commercial and investment treaty arbitration.

He holds a law degree with a diploma in Business Administration from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE) and is a former State Attorney (Abogado del Estado) currently on leave of absence.

David Villa · Board Member.

David Villa is a former Spain international footballer who played for clubs including Sporting de Gijón, Real Zaragoza, Valencia CF, FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid. He is the all-time top scorer in the history of the Spain national team, with which he won UEFA Euro 2008 and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

After retiring from professional football, he moved into the business world. He currently leads DV7 Group, the company he founded to manage football academies and sports projects in several countries.

Pablo Jiménez de Parga · Secretary of the Board.

Pablo Jiménez de Parga, Secretary of the club’s Board since 2002, is Executive Vice President of the law firm ÉCIJA. Pablo specializes in advising Spanish and international companies on commercial contracting and corporate law, particularly corporate governance matters, and serves as Secretary of the Board for numerous companies. He holds a Law degree, with Extraordinary Award, from the Complutense University of Madrid.
