Simeone included the Argentine in the list of 19 players to travel to the Andalusian city to play the first game of 2014.

The new signing successfully passed a medical in the Fremap clinic at Majadahonda and signed his name on his transfer contract until the end of the season. He is eager to start under the orders of Simeone.

The Argentinean international will have a medical examination on Thursday before signing as a new Atletico player until 30th of June.
