Atlético de Madrid, along with thousands of fans, celebrated the tenth League in the Club's history. Neptuno was a party full of fans, mainly children and young people, who didn’t stop cheering and chanting to the red and white heroes.

Diego Godín scored the tying goal at Camp Nou that won the League title to an Atlético de Madrid that was the fair champion, 18 years later.

Diego Pablo Simeone, Atlético’s coach, on a statement made to Canal Plus after the game, spoke about what this League title means and what the team had to suffer since the beginning.

Simeone has decided to move all of the team to Barcelona. After the last training, Atlético’s coach provided the squad list, and as he’s done before with important trips this season, everybody goes.

Atletico’s coach stressed before the media that the feelings of the team are great. He predicts a hard match where they’ll have to maximise their strengths.

The Brazilian midfield bets on being intense at the match that decides the League title at Camp Nou. He claims they’re working hard this week and that they’ll get there in top shape.

Juanfran, Koke, Villa, Diego Costa, Godín, Giménez, C.Rodríguez, Courtois, Alderweireld and Sosa were chosen by their respective national coaches in the preliminary lists for the World Cup.

Atlético’s coach highlighted his team’s effort at the press conference. He emphasised how difficult it is to win the League title and that they’re in that position due to their own merits.
