The Rojiblanco family continues to grow, and the Club has reached another record figure just four months after surpassing the 160,000-member mark.
The Rojiblanco family continues to grow, and we've now passed the milestone of 165,000 members. The Club currently has 165,042 members, a figure that confirms the extraordinary growth of our membership base.
Just four months ago, we reached the 160,000-member milestone. Since then, and throughout the summer, the number has continued to rise, with 5,000 new members joining the Club, consolidating our place amongst the ten clubs with the largest memberships in the world. We also have more than 61,500 season ticket holders for the 2026/27 season.
Last Wednesday, our team kicked off its LaLiga campaign against Málaga, with 66,000 spectators attending the match at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. The stadium once again enjoyed a memorable night of football, and all three points stayed at home.
This new milestone also highlights how young our membership base is. Forty-six per cent of our members are under the age of 30. Specifically, 16% are children aged 13 or younger, while the remaining 30% are between 14 and 30 years old. Another 12% are between 31 and 40, 14% are between 41 and 50, 16% are between 51 and 60, and 12% are over the age of 60.
Passion for Atlético de Madrid extends far beyond the Community of Madrid. 33% of our members live in the city of Madrid, 35% live in other municipalities across the Community of Madrid, 29% live in other Spanish provinces, and 3% live abroad.
The Rojiblanco family is represented in every single Spanish province, with members in 62 different countries around the world.
Membership remains open throughout the year. Any Atlético supporter can therefore join at any time and begin enjoying all the benefits of belonging to the Rojiblanco family immediately.
Atlético de Madrid membership is linked to the calendar year, rather than the sporting season, meaning current members will continue enjoying all their benefits until 31 December 2026. This year, the Club also gifted every member six months of membership free of charge. As a result, no renewal payment was taken in May, when renewals are normally processed. Instead, the Club's 165,000 members will renew their membership for 2027 during the first half of November.
In January 2027, all members, both season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders, will receive their new membership card, valid for the entire calendar year. The card will feature Antoine Griezmann, paying tribute to the French forward after he became Atlético de Madrid's all-time leading goalscorer.
Being an Atlético de Madrid member means being part of a family that never stops growing, while enjoying a wide range of benefits throughout the year. These include a €30 gift voucher for adult members, which can be used to purchase tickets for any home match, as well as in the Club's official stores and online shop.
Members also enjoy priority access and discounts when buying tickets for every home fixture, as well as the opportunity to apply for tickets to support the team at away matches beyond the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
These benefits are complemented by loyalty rewards, permanent discounts in the Club's stores, special promotions throughout the year, discounts on the Atleti Tour and Museum, preferential access to Club events, and free admission to Academy matches.
