Twitter celebrate their 7th birthday singing 'Te quiero Atleti'

The social network of 140 characters complete their seventh birthday with a video in which one of the mythical Atleti songs is sung in the 42nd second

This Thursday twitter users around the world have celebrated the seventh birthday of the social network, an occasion that we’re celebrating here at @Atleti with the hashtags #Twitter7 & #TwitterRojiblanco. Atletico fans around the world have shared the news on the social network, that in the video they’ve used a section of the song 'Te quiero Atleti', a chant that usually accompanies the team from the stands.


The segment of the video was soon the star of the tweets made by Atletico fans in the social networks and the word quickly spread around the world, with Twitter being one of the favourite places for Atletico fans to communicate. @Atleti has more than 300,000 followers and has become one of the easiest ways to follow the team minute by minute.
