Simeone continues to work with an eye on Granada
The Atletico Madrid coaching staff had all members of the first team available plus Oliver, Manquillo and Saul in the morning session today. Arda and Tiago did not train with the group and continue their recovery processes.
The rojiblanco squad returned to training in the morning with an eye on Sunday's match against Granada. Except for Arda Turan, who worked with the team physiotherapists and then perform continuous runs, and Tiago, who came out on to the field but did not train with the rest of the squad, Diego Pablo Simeone has the rest of the first team available. Oliver Torres, Javier Manquillo and Saul Ñíguez also join in the session.
Atletico started with gentle stretching before a physical circuit prepared by Oscar Ortega. The group then worked on strength and balance.
Knowing the importance of victory in the next league clash, Diego Pablo Simeone, after the exercise circuit, arranged in a closed session of an hour and a half in which he worked on the final touches before Sunday's clash against Granada. A clash that will be very special, not only for the three points needed to ensure the Champions League next year, but it, too, by the festive atmosphere that will be seen in the Vicente Calderon as the club celebrates Children's Day.
