Atletico (304 points) are second to Chelsea (307) in this classification updated to February.
Atletico Madrid are in the second position in the world ranking of clubs that is made by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). Barcelona, who had led the table for the past 22 months, are down to fifth place and that gave the first place to Chelsea ahead of Atletico, the top team in Spanish.
Bayern Munich win the German title of best team for the IFFHS February after winning all their matches in the Bundesliga, Cup and the Champions League.
