OUR GOALKEEPER WON HIS SECOND CONSECUTIVE ZAMORA

Oblak: "I want to thank my teammates, coaching staff and fans for their support"

The Slovenian keeper was very happy after winning his second award as the goalkeeper to concede the least goals, with an average of 0.72 per match.

Jan Oblak won his second consecutive Zamora Trophy. The Slovenian keeper conceded 21 goals in 29 fixtures and beat the rest of the goalkeepers in LaLiga with an average of 0.72 goals per match. Atlético’s keeper was “very happy to win my second trophy for the goalkeeper to concede the least goals." Oblak wanted to share his award with teammates, coaching staff and fans: "I want to thank all my teammates, coaching staff and fans for their support, without them I would not have been able to win this Zamora Trophy."

The Zamora won by Jan Oblak is the ninth in the history of our club and, together with Thibaut Courtois, is the only one that has been won twice.
