Griezmann: "We dedicate this victory to the fans"

The French striker, Griezmann, was the leading player of the game with two goals that book a spot in the semi-finals for our team. Griezmann answered BeIN Sports and dedicated the triumph to the fans. "They support us every game we play here at home and push us to play matches like these, this victory is for them," he said. 

Our player from the ranks, Saúl, assured that the enthusiasm of everyone made the difference. "We arrived with the hope of advancing to the semi-finals and with the enthusiasm of all the hearts that were on the field, of all our families, of all the people who love us and I believe that that has been the force that has made the difference," he said.

The team’s captain Gabi said that "The team has made a tremendous effort and we played very well in the counterattack. When we had to have possession we did. We have had scoring chances, a crash to the crossbar... I think the team has qualified fairly."  

Lucas said that "We are very pleased of beating the best team in the world. We knew that it wasn't going to be an easy match but with courage and heart we could win this match to keep dreaming. Playing 90 minutes against Barcelona is not easy and we knew that we had to give our all on the field. We gave it and were able to win this victory that is so deserved," he concluded.
