Look back at the past 75 years since we changed our name from Atlético Aviación to Atlético de Madrid at Territorio Atleti.
Territorio Atleti hosts, from Tuesday, Jan. 18, the '75 años honrando tu nombre' ('75 years honouring your name') exhibition. On Jan. 1, 1947, Club Atlético-Aviación changed its name to Club Atlético de Madrid. Our crest also evolved, as the wings that represented the Spanish aviation disappeared.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of that historic moment, we look back at some of the club’s greatest moments since 1947 through a photographic journey.
The four kits of the 2021/22 season also feature in the exhibition, as they are inspired by some unforgettable memories from these past 75 years.
Through numerous objects, you will enjoy, exclusively and for a limited time, documents and objects that make mention of the name Club Atlético de Madrid: letters, cards, tickets, posters, pennants, cards, magazines, press covers and books.
