Berdyev: "We knocked out one of the best teams in Europe"
Rubin Kazan coach Kurban Berdyev said Atletico his team suffered at the end because of the injury to Natcho and expulsion of Navas.
Berdyev was emphatic when he appeared before the media in the press room at the Luzhniki Stadium. "Knocking out Atletico Madrid has great value. We removed one of the best teams in Europe, "he said. Berdyev noted that, due to players being out, many players had to play out of their normal position, thus preventing the team to show their true selves".
