Marbella FC compete in Group 2 of the Primera RFEF, the same division as Atlético Madrid B. Notably, just two matchdays ago, Marbella visited the Centro Deportivo Majadahonda for a league clash, in which Fernando Torres' side emerged victorious in a 3-2 win.
In the previous round, Marbella FC knocked out Burgos CF (1-0) in Málaga. In the first round, they defeated Galicia side Bergantiños (2-1) away from home.
