Oblak equals Adelardo as the player with the second-most appearances in club history

The Slovenian goalkeeper has kept a clean sheet in 43% of the matches in which he has played and holds the record for the most Zamora Trophies won in LaLiga history.

With his appearance in Tuesday's clash against Bayern, Jan Oblak made his 553rd appearance for Atlético de Madrid, drawing level with club legend Adelardo Rodríguez as the player with the second-most competitive appearances in the club's history. Koke Resurrección continues to lead the way, having now made 749 appearances.

The Slovenian goalkeeper, who made his club debut on 16 September 2014 against Olympiacos, has kept 239 clean sheets (43% of his appearances) and is the goalkeeper to have won the Zamora Trophy the most times in LaLiga history (6).

These individual achievements add even more prestige to a trophy cabinet that includes a league title (2020/21), UEFA Super Cup (2018/19), UEFA Europa League (2017/18) and Spanish Super Cup (2014/15), all won as an Atlético de Madrid player.

Congratulations, Jan!
