Wanda Metropolitano hosts ‘Otra forma de entender la vida’ launch party

The Wanda Metropolitano hosted the launch party for the 'Otra forma de entender la vida. Atlético de Madrid, campeón de LaLiga 2020-21' ('Another Way of Living. Atlético de Madrid, 2020-21 LaLiga champions') documentary. Produced by Atleti Studios, in collaboration with TBS for Amazon, the documentary chronicles the story behind our LaLiga-winning season through unpublished audiovisual material. It reveals the secrets of a very hard but successful season, which took place in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The documentary is now available on Prime Video.
Club President Enrique Cerezo, coach Diego Pablo Simeone, players Koke, Savic, Oblak, João Félix, Luis Suárez, Saponjic and Marcos Llorente, and Head of Prime Video Content for Spain and Portugal Ricardo Cabornero attended the event. Other attendees included Club Vice-President Antonio Alonso, Director Óscar Gil and coaching staff members Nelson Vivas and Óscar Ortega, as well as several club legends.
Ricardo Cabornero spoke at the event.
"The values of perseverance, effort and teamwork have coincided with the league title, which was so special and marked by the pandemic. For us it is a privilege to have this collaboration with Atlético de Madrid and we hope that everyone likes it," the Head of Prime Video Content for Spain and Portugal said.
Enrique Cerezo shared his thoughts on the documentary.
"It was a very tough title, not only because of the pandemic, but also because we were up against great teams. We have worked hard to be able to win this title. The collaboration with Amazon Prime Video is very good and we hope you all like it," our President said.
Without fans in the stands and overcoming the hardships of the pandemic, our 2020-21 LaLiga success was a story of perseverance, passion and daily teamwork – making the dream of millions of Atleti fans around the world come true.
Through the voices of the protagonists, we will get to know the inner workings of the human group that ultimately won the title in May, in a thrilling finale that will remain in everyone's memory. It also features the voices of the fans and Leiva and Joaquín Sabina, who wrote the song Partido a Partido – which served as somewhat of a lucky charm for the team during the worst moments of the season.
