Wanda held a gala dinner in honour of the team
The whole team thanked Wanda’s gesture by attending the event before training in the last session of the day at the Shanghai Stadium.
Wanda organized a spectacular gala dinner in honour of the team this Monday in Shanghai. The event took place at the Regal international East Asia Hotel, our place of concentration in China.
The team, with Simeone in the lead, greeted the authorities present and thanked the hospitality of our hosts before going to Shanghai Stadium for the last workout of the day. The players were greeted by Wanda Group’s Vice-President, Spain’s Consul-General in Shanghai, Rodrigo Aguirre de Cárcer, by the Chairman of the Professional Football League Javier Tebas and our Chairman, Enrique Cerezo.
The authorities wanted to confirm the importance of football as a bridge between China and Spain and referred to the merger of Wanda Group and Atlético de Madrid as an example. Everyone wished for this Tuesday’s match to be a success and that the fans can enjoy a great show.
