The Portuguese footballer took the field on 61 minutes and finished the match injured.
Tiago Mendes suffers a hamstring injury in the back of the right thigh, according to a first examination made after the match played by Atlético de Madrid and PSV Eindhoven. A game in which the Portuguese player played the last half hour, after entering on 61 minutes to substitute Gaitán.
In the next 24-48 hours, the Portuguese midfielder will undergo imaging tests that will determine the extent of his injury.
