After beating Tottenham Hotspur on aggregate in the Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday night, Atlético de Madrid have made it to the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier competition for the 13th time (from a total of 20 participations). Furthermore, it is the eighth time under the tenure of Diego Pablo Simeone.
We will take on FC Barcelona in the next round. The first leg will be at Camp Nou on Wednesday 8 April, while the return fixture at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano will take place on Tuesday 14 April (9PM CET both games).
The winner of this tie will take on the winner of Arsenal vs Sporting CP. The other side of the bracket is Liverpool vs PSG and Bayern vs Real Madrid.
