We now know the eight teams we will face in the league phase of Europe's top competition.
Atleti now know the eight teams we will face in the league phase of the Champions League 2025/26, following the draw that took place in Monaco on Thursday.
Our opponents are:
- Sep. 17: Liverpool FC (Anfield) 9pm CET
- Sep. 30: Eintracht Frankfurt (Riyadh Air Metropolitano) 9pm CET
- Oct. 21: Arsenal (Emirates Stadium) 9pm CET
- Nov. 4: Union Saint-Gilloise (Riyadh Air Metropolitano) 9pm CET
- Nov. 26: Inter (Riyadh Air Metropolitano) 9pm CET
- Dec. 12: PSV (Philips Stadion) 9pm CET
- Jan. 21: Galatasaray (RAMS Park) 6:45pm CET
- Jan. 28: Bodø/Glimt (Riyadh Air Metropolitano) 9pm CET
The competition follows the same format as last season. 36 teams will take part in the league phase, with each team playing eight matches against eight different opponents. Once the league phase is completed, the top eight sides will qualify directly for the round of 16. The teams finishing between ninth and 24th place will contest two-legged play-offs, while those finishing between 25th and 36th will be eliminated from the competition.
