SIMEONE TURNS THE FOCUS TO SUNDAY AGAINST ESPANYOL

Diego Pablo Simeone divided the squad into two groups ahead of the game with Espanyol. In the morning session the players who did not travel to Moscow were joined by Oliver from Atletico B.

The first team worked on Friday in two groups, all focusing on Sunday's game against Espanyol. Diego Pablo Simeone held a morning session on field 1 f the Majadahonda Sports City for players who did not travel to Moscow, with the addition of Oliver from Atletico B, one of the regulars wh trains with the first team.

Juanfran, Filipe Luis, Gabi, Koke, Godin, Insua, Arda Turan, Tiago and Diego Costa, along with Oliver, began to perform physical work in the field under the command of Oscar Ortega. Then thy were joined by 6 more academy players and four Thais who are training with the youth teams. Cenk and Fran came from Atletico B, Abián, Glory, Ivo and Coke from Atletico C, and four Thai players Half, Tammaezee, Joe and Tommy.

The team worked behind closed doors ahead of the Espanyol game, a match in which Atletico want to continue the good run at the Vicente Calderon and add three points to keep the team's goal. In the afternoon the second session will take place for those who travelled to Moscow for the match against Rubin Kazan.
