The Argentine coach called upon the academy playerswith eight players named to complete the second session of the week after returning to work on Wednesday in the double session set by Diego Pablo Simeone. International commitments from eight of the members of the first team-Falcao, Filipe Luis, Diego Costa, Godin, Cristian Rodriguez, Arda Turan, Courtois and Koke-have left the coach with only 12 members of the first team.

From the beginning of training, Simeone divided the group into three teams of six players each: white, green and reds.

The session started with a series of warm-ups and stretching to proceed with a series of exercises that have varied from one against one, to crossing and shots on goal drill.

Finally, the Atleti coaching staff, led by Simeone, organized a triangle tournament between the three teams, with Alvaro Peral, keeper of Honor Youth Division joining in.

In the afternoon session, held on field 1 of the Sports City, Simeone reconvened 10 players from the academy to complete the job on the pitch. To get things under way, the rojiblancos spent half an hour in the gym before going out on to the field. Miranda did not participate with the group as he had in the morning. In the afternoon, the Brazilian had alternative work in the gym and physiotherapy.

The youth players players who worked in the afternoon session were: Alvaro Peral, Atletico Madrid Youth Honor Division, and the rest, the other nine were from Atletico Madrid Youth Honor Division (Isaac, Joseph, Sainz, Sillero, Vizcaino , Nacho, Alberto, Lucas and Tirado).

After a Rondos, the group split, with the keepers Asenjo and Alvaro Peral working with Pablo Vercellone. Meanwhile, Simeone divided in two to 20 players for a period of pressure in confined space without goalkeepers. On the one hand, were the red team: Cata Diaz, Cisma, Tiago, Gabi, Juanfran, Mario Suarez, Insua, Raul Garcia, Adrian and Dani Marquez.
