Guilherme Siqueira appeared at the press conference after Thursday's training at Majadahonda's Sports City. The Brazilian confirmed that his adaptation to the team keeps getting better: "I am increasingly feeling better. In the last matches I have felt more comfortable and more confident. With more matches and more training sessions, you become more accustomed to how you play with your teammates. With every match, I find myself better with them."

Siqueira highlighted the good streak of the team in their last matches: "We keep growing during the matches. There has been much discussion about our set pieces, but in the last couple of matches we have been feeling good collectively, and when playing. The team keeps growing in all facets of the game and that's positive because we have footballers on this team to play attractive and beautiful games. We are following a good path and we must continue on it."

Siqueira talked about Óscar Ortega: "The Professor is someone who spends his day watching your weight, your mood. He observes the details and knows a lot about the players, because we are human beings. I was very surprised by the way the team and the coaching staff worked. Simeone looks out for us, at all the practices, he's encouraging us until the end and that is very important for a footballer because we know we have a close coaching staff."

Finally, Siqueira praised the preparation of the Atlético team: "We go match-by-match. We can compete with any team. We know our limitations and we prepare to win against the best. The mentality of the coaching staff is seen through the players. That is what Simeone preaches. We know what we play for and what we have to do on the field. Intensity is our keyword."
