Simeone: “We put a lot of effort and hard work into the game”
Our coach, Koke and Thomas spoke about Saturday's match at the Camp Nou.
Simeone spoke after Saturday’s match against Barcelona, and praised his players for their effort.
“We put a lot of effort and hard work into the game. I think that we played well in the second half. Our goal is to go as far as possible,” our coach said.
Koke claimed that the team fought hard until the end.
“We were playing very well before the red card. Playing with 10 men against one of the best teams in the world is always difficult. The team fought hard with ten men and we even had a couple of chances. Now we have to focus on the next game and try to finish the league in the best possible position,” our midfielder said.
Thomas praised the team's attitude and urged his teammates to work hard until the end of the season.
"We fought until the end. They won, but we are happy with how hard we worked. We have to keep going until the end of the season," our number 5 said.
