
Nike and Atleti, together until 2035
The global market leader in sport and the Club have signed a new long-term deal, which reinforces the spirit that brought us together almost 25 years ago and also the ambition to keep growing together.
Nike, global market leader in sport, and Atlético de Madrid will continue their partnership until 2035. Ours is a long-lasting and successful relationship, which began in 2001 when the US brand became the Club’s technical sponsor and began to create kits for the Rojiblancos, with the promise of innovation, creativity and quality. This new agreement will see Nike increase their backing of our men’s and women’s teams.
We’ve gone through some historic moments together. Nike has followed us throughout our stunning growth in recent years, during which time we’ve won 16 titles, most notably two men’s LaLigas and three league titles for our Women, as well as six European honours. Since Nike joined our family, we have also carried out the highly successful move from Vicente Calderón to the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. Furthermore, we have further cemented our status among the biggest sides in Europe, one of just six clubs to have qualified for all of the last twelve editions of the UEFA Champions League.
Now, having signed this renewal, we’re looking to the future with that same spirit and ambition, which have united us since the start, in the hopes that we can continue to grow and face more challenges to come, starting with the Club World Cup in the USA this summer and the upcoming inauguration of the Ciudad del Deporte.
