Simeone: "We come with the expectation of growing football wise"
The Argentinian led the first training session in the United States and spoke before the press of the match our team will play against the Californian team in the early hours on Sunday to Monday (01:00 CET).
First training of our team on US soil. The session was held in the training fields of San Jose Earthquakes, the team we’ll play against in the first of two matches that Atleti will play in America in the second edition of the EuroAmerican Cup.
Diego Pablo Simeone responded to the media at the end of the training and claimed his team advances to the stage of "Playing after finishing the first part of the pre-season. We still have many players missing to complete the group that will play during the year. We come to the EuroAmerican Cup with the expectation of growing football wise".
The Argentinian pointed out how "The United States fans have received us very warmly, in the best possible way, and I hope that tomorrow there’s many people in the Stadium so we can have an entertaining match".

“We’re starting, and we’re missing many players to complete the group, but due to the national teams and the times needed by managers to bring players, today we have a very mixed group and we hope to play a good match", said the coach.
Lastly, with respect to the match against San Jose Earthquakes, which will be played in the early hours of Sunday to Monday, from 01 am CET (live on Canal + Liga), at the Candlestick Park Stadium in San Francisco, Simeone claimed that the team has prepared "With a lot of enthusiasm and are eager to play a good match".
