Simeone: “Tonight we faced a team that plays well”
Our coach and Herrera spoke after Tuesday’s win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Simeone shared his thoughts on Tuesday’s 1-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen.
“We play every game as if it were the last and we take things one match at the time. Tonight we faced a team that plays very well, and we had to be very focused. They attack very well and can also hurt you on the break thanks to their fast players. We did well despite playing with four new defenders,” our coach said.
Herrera praised the team for earning all three points.
“I’m very happy about the three points, it was very important for us to earn all three. Now it’s time to rest up and prepare for the next game,” the Mexican said.
