Simeone: "There are ten finals left and tomorrow there's one against Cordoba"
Atlético’s coach stressed the importance of the match against Córdoba in this final stretch of the League.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at a press conference to discuss the visit of our team to Córdoba (Sat/18:00) and said that "We are very aware that we play with the shirt of Atlético de Madrid. There are 10 finals ahead of us in the League and there is one tomorrow that we need to play as such. Words matter little at this stage of the season."
The coach said that "Regarding tomorrow’s match against Córdoba, we have to play a very strong match from the start and compete with the intensity with which we finished the last four games before the break."
Simeone analysed Córdoba’s current situation: "In the last game, against Real, they competed very well despite being only 10 and they played so until the end of the match. I can't imagine any other situation that shows a competitive team, that fights and is competitive."
