Simeone prepared for the match against Rayo behind closed doors
The team continued to prepare Sunday's game against Rayo Vallecano in a behind closed door training session on field 4 of the sports city in a session that lasted for an hour and a half.
Atletico Madrid continued preparation for next Sunday's league game at home to Rayo Vallecano. Diego Pablo Simeone had the entire squad in the session held on field 4 of the Majadahonda Sports City. The training, which began at 9:40 am, was first led by fitness trainer Oscar Ortega. Initially, the team performed a series of stretching and flexibility exercises before running a circuit in which the goal was to improve agility and coordination of squad. In addition, players performed exercises in which the aim was to enhance strength.

An hour and a half of intense work in which the coach emphasised technical and tactical aspects. Atletico return to play at home four days after doing so against Barcelona in the first leg of the Supercopa of Spain.
