Simeone made up the session with Atleti B players

The coaching staff began preparing for the Cup final against Real Madrid with the absence of the players who started the match against Barcelona. All set for a magical week.

The build up to the Majesty the King’s Cup final, one of the most significant weeks for Atletico this season. Diego Pablo Simeone worked with substitute players from yesterday's game against Barcelona and added to 5 players from Atletico Madrid B to complete a session that lasted an hour and a half.

Diego Pablo Simeone decided to rest the starting line up from the game against FC Barcelona. The first team players who exercised in the Majadahonda Sports were: Raul Garcia, Cata Diaz, Diego Costa, Óliver, Pulido, Schism and Filipe Luis. To complete the session, the Argentine coach called upon Cenk, Thomas, Kader, Reuben and Fran Sanchez from Atleico B.

The training was stared with ball work focusing on increasing the precision of passing. Then the squad started to work on strategy ahead of the final against Real Madrid.
