Simeone: "Inter are among the four or five best teams in Europe"
Our coach and captain gave an assessment of the match we will play this Tuesday at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Simeone and Koke spoke before the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 that we will play this Tuesday against Inter.
"To talk about Inter we have to think that they are among the best four or five teams in Europe at the moment. The league speaks for itself, the way they played last year in the Champions League and now they are competing with even more confidence. I really like the way they play, they play simple and sometimes that's what works best. It will be a game of duels," said our coach when analysing tomorrow's opponents.
"We need to play with the intensity we played with in the Copa del Rey or the other day against Las Palmas. We're going to face an opponent who are in a great moment, who have the weapons to be able to attack from either side, also taking risks from sustaining the attack. We will play where we believe we can do damage," continued Simeone.
"It's going to be a hard-fought game against a great team who are very well worked and who get a lot of people into the box, with people who have the quality to move the ball and when they have to retreat they have no problem in doing so. It's going to be a great game to watch, with a lot of intensity," said our captain.
