Simeone: "I hope to see a good game with two teams that try to play well and win"
Atletico manager Diego Pablo Simeone and Sporting Cristal’s Roberto Mosquera attended the presentation of the match between the two teams in the early hours of Thursday. Diego Costa and Carlos Lobaton accompanied their coaches in the press conference.

Diego Pablo Simeone was delighted to visit Lima to play the game in the summer schedule of team preparation. "We are in the preseason trying to get to our best level. We are at a good stage in preparation. The same happened the other day when we lost to Estudiantes, when we play against South American teams it is very good because when we come here we know that the boys are waiting with great enthusiasm, people will look forward to the game and it really helps us get closer to the level we’re looking for," he said.
The Argentine coach hopes that game is a spectacle from the stands and on the pitch. "Hopefully there are many people in the stadium, as I imagine. The other day there was a full stadium in La Plata, Buenos Aires, I imagine it’ll be the same tomorrow because I know here in Lima, the Peruvian people like football. They have always had a sensitivity to the good game and I imagine and hope to see a good game with two teams trying to play well and win," he concluded.
Costa: "We are working to improve"
The team wants to leave behind the defeat against Estudiantes with a good game. Diego Costa spoke of the positive side match at Buenos Aires. "The last game helped us to improve. It was difficult because we are starting and working to improve," said the Brazilian.
