Simeone: "I admire my players"
After our team's stunning performance in the RZD Arena in Moscow, our coach analyzed the win.
Our team won 1-5 in the RZD Arena to qualify (1-8) on aggregate for the Europa League quarter-finals. After the match, Diego Pablo Simeone analyzed the win.
"I admire my players," Simeone said. "In every match, they always play the same way."
In today's starting line-up, there were lots of young players who had a great performance.
"We have a lot of players who have grown a lot like Saúl, Koke, Thomas," he said. "We believe in our future."
Fernando Torres scored a brace and keeps on making history with our club. Simeone is happy for our goalscorer.
"He's committed to group and he's always looking for what's best for the team," he said. "[Torres] played a good match, like the rest of his teammates."
