‘Rojiblanco’ striker Borja González is given medical clearance
He was injured last 15 May at the Calderón against Getafe
He’s gone through more than six tough months of hard work but Borja González has finally been given the desired medical clearance. The ‘rojiblanco’ striker received medical clearance on the morning of Tuesday 23 November. The player has completely recovered from the injury that occurred at the Vicente Calderón last 15 May against Getafe.
That day Borja was making his debut at his home Stadium, in front of his supporters, against a set of fans that was excited to see him play his first minutes at the ‘rojiblanco’ grounds. The match was all but over, but bad luck crossed his path and what was supposed to be a day of joy and happiness cut short.
The young striker always kept the faith and, together with his iron will and his hard work, has put an end to his nightmare. After six months, and also thanks to the invaluable work of the Club medical services, led by Doctor José María Villalón, and of Oscar Pitillas, club physical therapist, the forward has begun to get his fitness back. He suffered a torn muscle around a month ago that set back his return. The player will now have to get back into shape before he can make his full return to the pitch.
