Rodrigo: "I'm happy for the debut and win"
Rodrigo spoke to the press, following our win on penalties against Arsenal.
Rodrigo made his unofficial debut for our side in today's International Champions Cup match against Arsenal. He played the whole 90 minutes and had a great showing.
"It’s my first match, since I came back to the club," he said. "I’m happy for the debut, the win and the fact I got to play 90 minutes."
In regards to his personal performance, Rodrigo was pleased.
"I have to go little by little to adapt. I’m happy because we won and I have to keep working hard."
Rodrigo praised Arsenal and especially our lads' hard work throughout the match.
"We played against a tough team with great players, especially offensive ones," he said. "Lots of our key players are missing, but it’s a good sign that we can compete with the squad we have right now."
