Atlético de Madrid have reached a sponsorship agreement with leading international money transfer company Ria Money Transfer. Our new sponsor’s logo is to appear on the back of our men’s and women’s teams’ shirts in all domestic matches.
The four-year agreement between both parties was presented at the Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium on Friday. Club President Enrique Cerezo hosted the event. José Cabral, Ria Money Transfer’s general manager in Europe, was present on behalf of the multinational. In addition, our players Héctor Herrera, Thomas Partey, Amanda Sampedro and Silvia Meseguer represented our men’s and women’s teams, whereas Luiz Pereira and Cacho Heredia represented the Atlético de Madrid Legends.
Enrique Cerezo welcomed our new sponsor and spoke about the agreement between both parties.
"The search for excellence in over 30 years has made Ria Money Transfer a benchmark company in the sector, with an ambitious international expansion plan that reaches more than 160 countries and, most importantly, maintaining its essence and its raison d'être: shortening the distances between families and their loved ones,” our President said.
José Cabral also spoke during the event.
"This project started six years ago, when we asked ourselves: ‘Why don’t we sponsor Atlético de Madrid?' We’re here because we’ve kept working and developing our company until today. We share values with Atlético de Madrid, such as humbleness, hard work, courage and heart. What we liked about this club was the people behind it. They’re hard-working and have the same goal. We’re very proud to have the Ria name on Atlético de Madrid’s shirts. We’re sure that this will be a successful year and the beginning of a long story,” Ria Money Transfer’s general manager in Europe said.
