Presentation of the 2015 Wanda International Tournament
Kick-start in Shanghai of La Liga World match that will measure up the teams coached by Eriksson and Simeone on the 4th of August at the Shanghai Stadium.
The Regal International East Asia Hotel of Shanghai has hosted this Monday the official presentation of the 2015 Wanda International Tournament that Shanghai SIPG will play against Atlético de Madrid on the 4th of August in the Chinese town and that is part of La Liga World, a project belonging to the LFP World Challenge. In the premiere of the match, the coaches of both teams have been highlighted, Sven Goran Eriksson and Diego Pablo Simeone, two old acquaintances, because the Swede coached the Argentinian in Lazio when they beat Scudetto and won the Italian Cup in 2000.
During the presentation, a video has been shown with images of the game of Atlético de Madrid and statements of Enrique Cerezo, Diego Simeone, Fernando Torres and Xu Xin talking about the visit to Shanghai and greeting all of our fans in China.

Wang Jianlin, Chairman of Wanda Group, also had a few words about the visit of Atlético de Madrid to Shanghai: "Wanda has a long history of investment in football in China and we are now extending our investment and interests abroad with the aim of developing relations. The visit of Atlético de Madrid to China for this special match against Shanghai SIPG is an example of the kind of connections that we can make to bring our cultures closer for the benefit of both countries. This will be a memorable occasion for Chinese and Spanish football."
Michael Sun, Deputy Executive General Manager of Shanghai SIPG, commented on the match against Atlético de Madrid, "We hope to learn a lot from the game against Atlético, but that does not mean that we do not have the desire to beat them. Any football team has the same wish when they play: to win."
He also commented that "the game is in the middle of the season of the Chinese Super League, so we will show our best shape. We also have the advantage that the match will be played at home, the Shanghai Stadium, so thousands of our fans will cheer for us and we won't let our fans down."
