Jan Oblak wins the 2017/18 Zamora Trophy
For the third season in a row, our goalkeeper wins the Zamora award.
Jan Oblak finished the 2017/18 season as the goalkeeper with the lowest goals-to-game ratio and has won the Zamora trophy once again. It's the third season in a row that our goalkeepers wins such an illustrious award.
Oblak played 37 league matches this season and conceded just 22 goals for a goals-to-game ratio of 0.59.
This is the 10th time an Atlético player finished the season with the best goals-to-game ratio: Fernando Tabales (39-40), Marcel Domingo (48-49), Miguel Reina (76-77), Abel Resino (90-91), José Francisco Molina (95-96), Thibaut Courtois (12-13 and 13-14) Jan Oblak (15-16 and 16-17).
