On Monday, the Slovenian goalkeeper received the sixth Zamora Trophy of his career, corresponding to last season, which has made him the goalkeeper who has won this award the most times in LaLiga history.
On Monday, at Real Casino de Madrid, Jan Oblak received the Zamora Trophy for the 2024/25 season. The trophy, awarded by the newspaper Marca, recognised our goalkeeper as the keeper who conceded the least goals last season, having played a minimum of 28 games and 60 minutes in each match.
Our goalkeeper, who conceded just 30 goals and kept 15 clean sheets in 36 games, was accompanied to the event by our president, Enrique Cerezo; Carlos Bucero, the club’s general director of Football; and Mateu Alemany, the club’s director of Professional Men’s Football.

The Slovenian received his sixth Zamora award from Hyundai’s marketing director, Elena Gris, and the Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida.
This is the fifteenth time that an Atlético goalkeeper has won this award, following previous winners Fernando Tabales (1939/40), Marcel Domingo (1948/49), Luis Menéndez (1953/54), Rodri (1970/71), Miguel Reina (1976/77), Abel Resino (1990/91), José Francisco Molina (1995/96), Thibaut Courtois (2012/13 and 2013/14) and Jan Oblak himself (2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2020/21).
With this sixth Zamora Trophy, the Balkan goalkeeper surpassed Antoni Ramallets and Víctor Valdés in terms of the number of award wins, making him the goalkeeper with the most award wins in LaLiga history.
