Men’s, women’s first team training suspended for the coming weeks
Club Atlético de Madrid has decided that the players, coaching staff and assistants will remain at home in compliance with the rules dictated by the state of alarm declared in Spain to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Due to the new scenario in Spain after the declaration of the state of alarm by the Government and the recommendations made by the various authorities, Club Atlético de Madrid has decided to suspend the training sessions of our men’s and women’s first teams over the coming weeks. The players, members of the coaching staff and assistants will remain at home complying with the rules dictated by the aforementioned state of alarm to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
In order to keep players in perfect physical condition during these few weeks, they have been provided with individual training guidelines to be carried out at home, never in common areas or community gyms, as well as nutritional recommendations and personalised diets.
The players and coaching staff have also been given a series of recommendations to prevent infection, insisting on the need to maintain physical contact exclusively with the family unit, to avoid leaving home except in cases of extreme need and to strictly follow the hygiene and health recommendations.
