After signing his contract, Matías Kranevitter felt "grateful to Atlético de Madrid for this opportunity they give me. It was nice to win the Libertadores Cup for River after 19 years and I am very grateful for having the opportunity to play such an important game. Once we play the tournament, I will join Atlético to give my all from the first moment and try to adapt as soon as possible to the working methods and to Spanish football. I am delighted with the agreement," the Argentinian international concluded.
