Looking for a win in Pamplona
We’re visiting the capital of Navarre as we take on Club Atlético Osasuna on Tuesday, at 21:30 CEST, on LALIGA EASPORTS matchday 36.
After the match against Celta Vigo, we’re back in league action on Tuesday at 21:30 CEST as we take on Osasuna. With three games to go, we will be looking for a win at Estadio El Sadar.
Our opponents, managed by Alessio Lisci, welcome us after losing 3-2 to Levante on the previous matchday. Victor García and Etta Eyong scored for the home side as Osasuna went two goals ahead following a goal from Ante Budimir and Toljan’s own-goal.
Their last home game was against Fútbol Club Barcelona. Hansi Flick’s side beat Osasuna 1-2, thanks to goals from Lewandowski and Ferran Torres, with Raúl García de Haro scoring for Osasuna. Los Rojillos are currently on 42 points in tenth place in the standings.
The visit to Pamplona will also serve as a reunion with one of our former players, Javi Galán, who wore our colours until last December.
In the first meeting of the season, we hosted Osasuna at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in mid-October, and came away with the victory (1-0) thanks to a goal from Thiago Almada. Last season, when we travelled to El Sadar, we fell to a 2-0 defeat with goals from Alejandro Catena and Ante Budimir.
