Llorente has reached 300 appearances as a Rojiblanco
Our player played his 300th match for Atlético de Madrid this Sunday.
This Sunday against Villarreal at the Estadio de la Cerámica, Marcos Llorente played his 300th match as an Atlético de Madrid player.
The Atlético number 14 arrived at our Club in the summer of 2019, making his official debut on 18 August in the first league fixture of the 2019/2020 season, where we faced Getafe at home.
Since then, he has had many memorable moments as a Rojiblanco, such as his brace at Anfield against Liverpool in March 2020, which saw us advance to the quarter-finals of that edition of the Champions League.
With Diego Pablo Simeone at the helm, he has assumed a leading role both in defence as well as in attack, becoming a versatile and decisive player within the Club's current squad. This is shown by the 36 goals and 44 assists he has achieved in the Atlético kit.
He has won one LaLiga title with Atlético during the 2020/2021 season and he continues to perform every matchday for the Rojiblanco fans watching on from the stands of the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. Congratulations, Marcos!
