An investment in youth
Koke, Óliver and Manquillo, three of our most successful youth players have extended their contracts with Atletico Madrid until 2018.
In its commitment to the academy players, Atletico Madrid have extended Koke , Óliver Torres and Javier Manquillo’s contracts until 2018.
Koke has been established as a major player in the first team, contributing decisively to last years achievements. It was his pass for the goal that gave the Copa del Rey to atleti in the Santiago Bernabeu last season. His extraordinary growth has seen him called up for the full Spanish team after winning the Euros with the under 21s.
Meanwhile, Óliver Torres and Javier Manquillo are now part of the first team after alternating between the first and second team last season. Both players have been in all categories of the international youth teams and were included in the last under 21s squad.
