Koke, Five Star Player of September
Pablo de la Fuente, Brand Manager of Mahou Cinco Estrellas, presented the trophy to the midfield. The Spanish international is the first winner of this new award sponsored by the beer brand.
In the Majadahonda Sports City this afternoon, Koke received the new Five Star Player Award which recognizes the best player in the month of September voted for by the tweeters of Atletico. The midfielder received the award from Paul de la Fuente, Brand Manager of Mahou Cinco Estrellas.

The international was "very happy" to receive this recognition and wanted to thank the fans supporting Atletico. "Thanks for the votes. I'll Try to continue to do things as well or better," he said.
The youth is the first winner of this new initiative, promoted by Mahou, which takes place every day around the hashtag game #Jugador5estrellasATM on twitter. The followers of @Atleti 6 @FutbolMahou choose the best Atletico player every month.
Koke has been collected the first edition of the trophy for the highest number of votes overall after being the player with the most support in the games against Valladolid and Real Madrid. Diego Costa, who won the most votes in the encounter against Almeria and Osasuna, and Villa, the best player after the victory in San Sebastian.
