How will the seats be like in the new stadium?

Today, we return to our 'You ask' section to answer one of the questions that matters the most by our fans. We will focus on the seats of our new stadium. 

Comfort, functionality, and design

When the club faced the layout of the fans in our new home, it set three main challenges: comfort, functionality, and design. To respond appropriately to all of them, we chose a well-guaranteed and world-renowned company: EHEIM MÖBEL GmbH. It is a company with more than 174 years of experience that specializes in the manufacture and installation of sports seats.  

Among the numerous stadiums in which it has worked, we can highlight the Allianz Arena in Munich, Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, the Mercedes Benz Arena in Stuttgart, or recently, here in Spain, the new stadium of San Mamés, in Bilbao.   

The club has chosen the ARC model for the new stadium by selecting up to four types of seats depending on the areas of the stadium: Arc Lite for General Seating, Arc One for the Premium Area of the Middle Stand, Max Arc in the VIP Boxes and Open Boxes and, finally, Arc Vip for the Presidential Box. The colours of the seats have not been confirmed yet.  

ARC Lite

For General Seating of the new Stadium, EHEIM has designed a double-walled seat with a contoured back support. This kind of ergonomic seat offers a long lasting exceptional comfort. The seats are folding, with a soft and soundless mechanism.  

  

ARC One

This seat model is characterized by its injection molding. It has an ergonomic back and inlaid padded upholstery. Like the previous model, it pays special attention to lumbar support. They are upholstered and sophisticated seats, with acoustic perforations, and will have a shared arm.

  

Arc Max and ARC Vip

For Premium and VIP areas, following the same design line, we offer padded and imitation-leather-upholstered seats, with higher backs and armrests for each fan. The width of these seats varies between 56 and 58 cm and feature a luxurious and comfortable appearance. The seats will be placed on bars. As the seats fold, fans will have more space to pass between the rows.  

  

In the choosing of all the seat models, the club has taken into account comfort, functionality, and quality, above capacity. In total, more than 67,000 seats of the highest level, that will make spectators have fun comfortably and securely, from anywhere in the stadium.
